DJ Koessler is an advisor to political candidates, causes, companies, and cultural influencers.

A Democratic campaign veteran, DJ has spent most of his career on the front lines of politics and media. In 2020, he led social media and digital rapid response for Pete Buttigieg’s presidential campaign, and in 2016, he served on Hillary Clinton’s HQ digital team in Brooklyn, NY.

DJ honed his chops at Blue State, and has built and led teams at top advocacy organizations, including Climate Power and Stand Up America. With more than a decade of experience, DJ has worked with Fortune 100 brands, advised winning electoral and public affairs campaigns, and held the pen for some of the world's most well-known politicians, entertainers, and athletes.

A master's graduate of Columbia University, DJ returned to campus to teach courses in strategic communication. A Michigan native, he lives in New York City.
